Our Story

Inspired by the great gastropubs of New York and London, THERE was created to offer outstanding cuisine in a casual, local atmosphere. Owned and operated by your neighbors, you're just as likely to see us around town as behind the bar. We aim to create a place where our customers are just as comfortable in a suit after work as they are in flip-flops and t-shirts. And, regardless of how you're dressed, you are always treated with great service, enjoy a craft cocktail or two, and can't wait to come back and see what the Chef has cooked up next.   

You see, we use local purveyors, and when in season, produce from our organic garden right down the street, to create hand-crafted dishes that you will not find common. We grind our meats, make our own sausage, hand-cut our fries, make every sauce, and work hard to ensure that every dish is unique and delicious and that we earn our place as your neighborhood Gastropub. We complement our menu with specialty cocktails, some created here and some classics. We featured local craft breweries on tap and have carefully selected beers and wines from around the world. 

In our first year, we won acclaim and recognition in many publications around Atlanta, including creative loafing, Jezebel, and others. Our menu changes regularly, augmented with specials and surprise dishes - you can always try something new.
